I guess they have the money but after all the controversy behind the lack of viewership of the world series, which had a team from Philly and Tampa Bay, allowing the Yanks to buy EVERY high priced quality pitcher out there just makes matters worse,
Spin forward: Market set, now what?
Will we ever have a salary cap in Baseball?

I had two kids in the house for a solid 18 hours. It was Maddox’s first sleepover. His buddy George came over to spend the night so that his parents could party like teenagers. Maddox and George spent most of the time imitating each other, if one took a sip of water, so did the other. If George ran into the bedroom, Maddox followed him. If Maddox wanted a ride on his truck so did George. This created the only tantrum of the evening. Maddox desperately wanted to ride the truck that George was pushing around. George would have none of it. Besides that incident, it was a joy to have two kids running around the house. Althoug I am now exhausted.
I also noticed George saying a lot of words. I can’t wait for Maddox to get to that point. It’ll be such a change to have a talking walking little human around the house.

Last year we went to Singapore to spend Christmas with my family and my brother had his annual Christmas party. The highlight of the party are the Swedish meatballs (and my sister-in-law’s uncanny ability to wrap presents without using any scotch tape). The meatballs are a special recipe and a dish he slaves over for hours on end. We know this because Kerry and I helped him cook them last year.
This year we aren’t going to see my brother, so no meatballs for the holidays, except . . . if you go to IKEA where they serve Swedish meatballs in the cafeteria!!!

We thought Maddox would love them but he was only interested in the lolliberry jelly that comes with with it.

Mission accomplished. We got our Swedish meatball fix and some Christmas shopping done. Maddox loves the tents and crawl tunnels they have at IKEA. So we bought a Korall Anemon and a Speja (I can’t pronounce any IKEA name without sounding like the Swedish chef).
